Sam grew up in Sydney, Australia, but has been living in Freiburg for many years. He is married to Judith and has four children between 4 and 13 years old. After studying linguistics and history, he worked for a large medical technology company for seven years and as a freelance translator on the side. He has been the lead pastor at CCF since 2016. He loves theology - especially of the church/community, as well as practical life and the kingdom of God - and church history. In his spare time he loves spending time with his family at the beach - or exploring a new city, watching Australia play rugby and enjoying a strong, black coffee - without sugar. Most of all, as a pastor, he loves having the opportunity to spend time with people in conversation about Jesus, His church, His kingdom and what it means to follow Him.
Alex came to faith in his early twenties while studying computer science. He's been at CCF over 20 years and is leading it together with Sam since 2016. He's married and has four grown children.
Since 2016 Alex has been part of the elders. He came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 16. Today he's married and father of three children between 1 and 7.
Brandon is from Texas and moved to Germany in 2010. 2015 he started Church At Five and has been an associate pastor since. He's married with three children between the ages 1 and 5 years.
Chriss has been an elder since 2017. He's married with three children between the ages 6 and 10.
