Welcome to Heimathafen, our community-owned café. Here you can enjoy delicious food, coffee, great people, plenty of space for fellowship and conversation and the opportunity to relax and unwind during the opening hours mentioned above. The premises opposite the worship hall were renovated at the end of 2019 and we can now welcome you to our beautiful café.
Löwenstraße 3-7, FreiburgA space in the middle of Freiburg's city center. A space for meeting, sharing, good food. Even Jesus used to share food and fellowship with His disciples. This is exactly what we want our Heimathafen Café to stand for, because we believe that faith really comes alive and can be experienced in fellowship with one another. The café is also a good place to bring people along, to invite them and is therefore a good contrast to our church services in the hall opposite.
And oh yes, we almost forgot, of course we also serve delicious coffee from our portafilter machine!
When & WhereCurrently, the Heimathafen regularly opens its doors once a week for a delicious lunch and great fellowship. Be sure to check our Instagram page or ChurchTools beforehand in case there are any changes.

On a Donation BasisDuring our opening hours (see above), we usually offer you a fresh dish of the day and a small dessert.

EventsThe Heimathafen is more than just a café. It is a space for encounters, for conversations, a home.
Since its extensive renovation in 2019, it has also been a popular hub for events and functions organized by our partners in Freiburg.
